Getting here
We are located 60 km north of Rovaniemi. Please check in for our tours at the designated start time. Check-in for our log cabins opens at 16:00. If you arrive early, you can enjoy some sweet delights and snacks in our café or have a traditional meal in our restaurant while you wait for reception to open. Unfortunately, we don't have storage lockers for luggage, so please leave your suitcases in your car. Check-in closes at 23:00.
By car
We don't have a transfer service so the best way to get here is by car. There are various car rental services available in Rovaniemi as detailed on Visit Rovaniemi's website. Rented cars can be picked up at the airport or the railway station, and the journey here takes just under an hour. Having a car to use gives you the most flexibility to explore Lapland's landscapes and localities, as well as the shops and supermarkets in Rovaniemi or Sodankylä (there are no shops here or even nearby!).

By Bus
The name of our village is Tiainen and the name of our place is Korvala. To find a bus here from Rovaniemi, please go to to Matkahuolto's website, then go to the "Timetables and ticket purchase" box to search for buses from Rovaniemi to Tiainen or from Rovaniemi to Luosto.
Buy your ticket once you're on the bus and make sure to ask the driver to drop you off at Korvala, which is about 1 km before Tiainen. Our bus stop is immediately opposite us.
When you search for buses back to Rovaniemi, again search for buses from Tiainen or Luosto. The bus timetable sometimes shows Korvala as a pick-up point - this is the local service that doesn't run as often as the buses from Tiainen. It's also a bit cheaper.
If you are travelling from Pyhä or Luosto, use the same website and search for buses to Rovaniemi. Again, our bus stop isn't listed on these timetables, but the bus drivers always drop our guests off if you ask.
Expect to pay €15-€18 for an adult's ticket one way, and around half price for children aged 4-11.

By Taxi
If you don't want to hire a car or take the bus, then you can take a taxi to get here. Due to the long distance you need to expect to pay around €100 for the journey. There are just a few safe and trustworthy taxi services available in Rovaniemi listed below and as detailed on Visit Rovaniemi's website.

💡 Pro tip: When taking a taxi from a taxi rank, line or queue, you have the right to choose the taxi that you want – you do not need to take the first one!
